The team reviews submissions that supply laboratory reports, instrument logs or peer-reviewed preprints for factual verification.

Replies are issued only when additional primary sources are required to correct or expand an existing report. General queries about optics education, commercial product advice or unsubstantiated claims receive no response. The inbox is reviewed on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00 UK time.
